They may be able to be worked out with the court depending on several factors. The first issue is to get the warrants recalled-this can be done by an apperance at the court where the warrants are held-I would strongly advise speaking with an attorney before hand as the court may decide to hold you in custody. Feel free to contact the office for a detialed discussion-774-745-0562.
We assist clients with old warrants all the time. It typically requires that the defendant surrender him/herself to the court and then get a PreTrial conference date to start to move the case along towards resolution. Often times people have moved away from the area making this difficult. In those cases we try to make preparations up front so that the client only need to come back to court once to resolve the matter. There is no guarantee that your case would qualify, but in some cases we have resolved the matters without the client even returning to the court. Call if you would like us to help you with these warrants or go to my web site and read more about Old Massachusetts Warrants.
