Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

I was wondering what you think my fiance may be facing.

he is on probation and has recieved a violation for not paying probation fees and not reporting for 2 months [ he is supposed to report once a month, but has not been able to get ahold of his PO, also the PO is supposed to come by the house once a month and hasnt for about a little over 3 months, therefor hes not doing his job, either. and as for the fees, my fiance is planning on paying them with his taxes, and was not aware that they HAD to be paid in installments] now if all fees are paid before his court date, what outcomes do you believe we could be facing?

He has had previous violations, but it was on previous probations, this was his first violation during THIS probation, he was assigned 1 year of probation and has been doing very well for ten months, only 2 more months until his probation ends. and since having it reinstated has been working, paying his child support, also supporting myself and his 4 month old son, and has gotten an apartment.

now, with all things considered, and judging by your previous expieriences, what could he be facing?

Just looking for a general idea of possibilities

and maybe what to expect.

also, if he gets himself a attourny apposed to a court appointed one, could that greatly reduce his chance on incarsaration? [assuming he gets himself a good attourney]

all opinions and advice are greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Get a lawyer and deal with this now.

It should not be that complicated to fix this situation.
