Depends-Massachusetts has the social host law, as most states do-so it would depend on questions such as-who supplied the alcohol-how much you drank-did they try to stop you: many many questions would need to be answered first. However, most likely the home owners would be named in a suit and may not lose their home but would surely need attorneys.

I agree with what Attorney Biando has said. It would all depend on the circumstances, but I could envision a set of circumstances in which the hosts lose their house.

You and your friends could be sued under the social host statute and both you and they should report this to your respective insurers and consider retaining respective attorneys and confide only in them. Good Luck!
