Legal Question in DUI Law in Massachusetts

My son was arrested last night for transporting alcohol as a minor. It was at a concert venue during the tailgating before the show. My son had no idea there was beer in his trunk as when the two vehicles left the 8 teens going were loading up coolers. The police at the venue found two boys in the back seat of my sons car drinking beer. My son was not with them, he was at the car in the next parking spot, My son was not drinking and took a breathalyzer to prove it, he registered at zero. The beer was not his, he was not driving ( the car had been parked in the parking lot for several hours at this point) He was processed and left in a jail cell for 5 hours, not allowed to call us and arrived home very upset with a court date in hand. What can we expect? He's a good kid and has never gotten into trouble before.

This should be easily resolved at one of the court dates, especially if he has no record.
