my son got a duiin ma,legal limit .8, he was .9. what can we expect we live in ct, 2.5 hrs away

Depends on his record and facts of the case. Since the breathalyzer machine is only accurate within +/- 0.03, then your son's blood alcohol content (BAC) reading of 0.09 could have been as low as 0.06 or as high as 0.12. a 0.09 is a triable case that could result in an acquittal if taken to trial.

If he pled or lost at trial, there would be substantial fees, and a substantial loss of his ability to drive.
