my dad passed 3 year ago ,my older brother has moved in along with young son now 15,was helping as part care giver over 3 years now ,now she ready for nursing home,will this help save the family home from nursing home cost,

Not necessarily. I suggest you or he contact an attorney to discuss the best ways available to protect the home. He may be allowed to stay there indefinitely, but that will not stop Medicaid from placing a lien on the property.
