Yes, but you need to be careful as their is a five year look back rule on such actions. I suggest you contact an attorney for assistance ASAP if you want to do such things.

I agree with Attorney Roth.
You want to be extremely careful if you or a loved one is engaging in financial or estate planning. Doing nothing is certainly not an option, but making one wrong move can cost a family all of their hard-earned wealth and/or prevent an individual from receiving much needed medicaid benefits.
