Legal Question in Elder Law in Massachusetts
A potential employer sent me e-mail that stated I was not being considered because I fell into "Old dog new tricks" category. I am 63 years old. Would that be considered age discrimination?

It certainly raises a serious question about discrimination, and seems to show that the decision not to hire you was based on your age. If true, this is unlawful. Obviously, the context of the rest of the e-mail, your employment history, etc., is all important in the analysis. You should speak to an attorney, and make sure that you do not delay too long, because there are time limits on when you must act.
It would appear on its face to be age discrimination. Someone would have to review the email and then determine the value of the case. You should contact an attorney ASAP.
