Legal Question in Elder Law in Massachusetts
Turning over assests of a parent to children
My 87 year old Dad is in a rehab hospital and may have to go into a nursing home. Is it too late to transfer his assets, particularly his home, to the names of my sister and myself ?

You can always transfer some assets. However, a home may cause too long a period of ineligibility. You need to consult with an elder law attorney to figure out what to do, the sooner you do so, the more you'll be able to save. Good luck.
