The state charges $500 to file articles of organization. My firm charges a flat fee of $750 inclusive of the state filing fees.

The Operating Agreement of an LLC is a separate document. If the owners of the LLC agree quickly on the various issues, it costs roughly $500 to draft this document. However, if each owner has his own lawyer involved and there are extensive negotiations on the terms of the Operating Agreement, it can cost several thousand dollars.
