Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I am 18 and wish to know my rights

I am 18 and I am going to graduate in june. My mother, who I've lived with all my life, has to move out of state for a job so I'm going to live with a family member in town. My father says that when I graduate from high school that I have no choice and I have to go live with him until I start college. He says that there is a law that allows him to do this. Is this actually a law even though I am 18, and out of high school?

I have not heard of any such law. As far as I know, at 18 you are an adult and can live where you want. Despite this, you can still be dependant upon your parents for support.

I agree.

There is something other problem, none legal, that exists in between which you may well need to address.
