Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My 13 year old daughter wants to move with her father in different state. We are divorced. Will the judge grant her wish, if he takes me to court?

I assume that your husband has physical custody of your daughter. If your husband is moving for a good reason such as a job, they will let her go with your husband. However, some accomodation for your visitation needs to be provided.

If your husband does not have physical custody, then it is a whole different set of issues such as changing who has physical custody.
