Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I'm a 17 year old minor and I need a lot of help...

I am 17 years old. I recently moved out of my parents home because of some issues we had. I am so afraid of many things to go home. As of right now I do not trust any family because threw all of this they have all turned on me. I want to be on my own. I've never been happier. My parents recently told me that soon they will have there way no matter what and I won't have to go home but they'll make me live where they want me to live. I want to be on my own. I recentyly quit my job because I was recently hired for a better job which pays more and provides more days. I was told by the local police I do not have to go home . Since then I have had so many different answeres. I want to know do I have to go home. I need to know because this has been a terrible emotional rollercoaster and I want to feel safe again. Can my parents make me go where they want me to live?? Please Help Me!!

As the prior answer stated, call the Children's Law Center. However, be assured that your parents cannot force you home via court action if you are mentally competent. At 17, the courts essentially lose the power to direct you to live with parents or others; you have to agree.
