Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
I adopted a MA Foster Child when shr was 9. She is 18 and wants to be independent. I also want to rescind the adoption as she has been extremely damaging to me financially and emotionally. Is this possible for me to do?

As of the age of 18 you no longer have responsibility for her. At 18 she is an adult legally and she can leave and do what she wants. If you do not want to leave her anything in your Will you can disinherit her. If you are concerned about continuing financial obligations for her, you no longer have such an obligation.
