how do i go about adoptin g a friends baby and is there any finacial assistance i can get to help provide for the baby,i work full time and pay my own rent and bills

To adopt a child is great thing. You would need the consent of the birth mother and birth father. You may need assistance of an agency to do an investigation of you to determine you are a fit parent.

I am not aware of a program that would give an adoptive parent funds to take care of a child.

Alternative would be to get approved as a foster parent for the child and some funds are provided for that.
