Alimony
What terms are there for having to pay alimony, years married? amonut of income? children?

Child support and Alimony are two different things. Therefore, the number of children is not relevant for the purposes of determining alimony. There are a number of factors that can give rise to alimony including the years of the marriage, the ability of the spouse seeking alimony to support themselves, among them. There is no bright line rule that dictates when alimony will be awarded - it depends on the unique facts of the case.
