Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Answer to Domestic Relations Summons Massachusetts

Does anyone have a sample of the proper format in which to answer a Domestic Relations Summons in Massachusetts? I reside in Connecticut, and my ex-husand has served me with a complaint to stop child support. I have searched the internet and cannot find an example of the proper protocol. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There is no sample, and there is no one-size-fits-all format. Lawyers craft these documents in response to the particular facts of their clients' situation.

You should speak with an attorney about your options.

There is no set form for Answering the Motion. You can create a form using the informtation from his Motion and entitling it ANSWER to MOTION and then respond.

I would suggest you contact an attorney for assistance as these matters sometimes require special attention.
