going back to court for increased child support
My oldest child will be 13 in June. Mass. Child Support law states I am entitled to a 10% increase in support. How do I go about getting it? Do I have to go back before a judge? If so, can I go alone or do I need an atty? I've already paid over $40,000 in legal fees and can't afford to pay more.

The Guidelines calculate a 10% addition for a child at age 13. However, in a modification, the Guidelines require (in theory) that the resulting increase in child support should be 20% or more above the current rate.
