I have a balance with my lawyer for a divorce. I pay very regular is it normal for my lawyer to harrass me for money via email

I am not sure what you mean by harrassment. It is not unusual for them to request payment on a monthly basis. Have you agreed a payment plan with your attorney?

If not try to do so.
