Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My boyfriend had to keep his exwife on his health insurance until she remarried. We just found out recently that she is married and has been for possibly 4 or 5 years. I assume that it was her responsibility to notify the court of this change. Is there any action that can be taken against her? He also has his daughter on his insurance so I'm not sure what the difference would have been in the amount he would have had to pay weekly for the insurance.

Depending on the wording of the divorce agreement with regards to the health insurance issue, your boyfriend's ex-wife may be found to be guilty of violating a court order and therefore guilty of contempt. However, if there is no financial difference for your boyfriend to have her on his policy, then she would not be made to reimburse your boyfriend for the health insurance.
