Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Bringing minor child to work

My son is is the care of a guardian and we are fighting for custody. His guardian is taking him to work with her for the last week of the summer at 8 hours a day. Are there any laws saying she is not allowed to do this?

That's okay. He will learn something about the work ethic. As long as she is not hooking or selling drugs or doing some other illegal work, he will be fine. He just might learn some lifelong values.

Re: Bringing minor child to work

You have not described your concern about the child being taken to the work place. As a general rule, taking a child some place is not a problem. The issue is given a child's age, which you have not said, what harm or risk of harm will the child face if taken to the guardian's work site. Should you wish to provide more information, or have any other questions, contact me.
