Re: Calculate support

The only way to calculate it is if I know the following facts:

what is the custodial parents income?

Who is paying the medical insurance and the amount?

If you contact me I can send you a form. Also, the Porbate Court may help you calculate it.

Re: Calculate support

You can do this yourself by going to the DOR website. Use a search engine for "Guidelines Massachusetts Child Support Calculator."

The college-age child may not be included, as the Guidelines now expressly state that the court should consider actual costs and use greater discretion. In the past, the "Guidelines is Guidelines" theory was the approach. Whether judges on the line are actually going to do that is a different question.
