Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

When calculating gross weekly amount, my ex is deducting the deductible part of self-employment tax, Schedule SE off her final income to be used. I just finished my taxes and I have a loss, Schedule E that resulted in a deduction in my income as well. Are both of these correct to use for the calculation in the gross weekly amount for child support?

Gross income generally does not take into account income taxes paid. Self employment is generally total gross income minus expenses.
