changing of last name

My sons father and I were not married... I gave my son his fathers last name... we are no longer together and want to change his last name to my last name, is this possible?

You can file a petition. The father will almost certainly oppose it. The Court will decide.

You file a Petition for Change the name of your child and then the Court will decide.
