my baby girl's mom left out of state after a week told me that she won't come back. what can I do?

You can file for paternity if there has not already been a paternity claim, though you may have little luck. If there -is- already a paternity case in which you are named the father, you can request that the Court require the return of the child here, if you do so within six (6) months of the leaving. You may not be able to convince the Court of the necessity, however.

If no paternity action has been filed, or if six (6) months have already passed, your remedies may be in the state to which the mother has gone.
