Child Father Posted pic on internet

My child father has posted his picture on his my-space page. Can he do that without my permission

I don't think you will be successful in challenging this, but I would have to see the picture in order to make a better determination. Atty Weicker of my office is an expert in the areas of law concerning "My Space".

Although this is probably stupid in today's world, it is also legal. Absent a court order, you cannot bar the child's father from being proud enough to show the child.

You should discuss this rationally with the man, and also consistently -- if -you- have photos of the child in cyberspace, thwere is no reason to bar the father from having them.

Absent a photo being lewd or dangerous, there is no law to prevent it being displayed in a newspaper or other public forum (to include MySpace), and, with few exceptions, no one needs permisson to take soneone else's photograph if they are in public.

If you would like to try making new law, we could discuss copyright... did you take this picture or did he? Who "owns" the photgraph?
