Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

child support

My daughters father has child support deducted from his pay check evey week, but his small business employer refuses to send it in weekly. Also, when it is sent in payments are missing. The company is pocketing a few hundred dollars every month. Also, the owner of that business is the brother of my boyfriend(of 8 years) exwife. I am getting shafted, it really sucks and I don't know what to do.

As a simple matter, the responsibility always remains with the father. I would advise the father to straighten this matter and/or you can simply file a contempt action for the missing amount, and to get another system into place.

Should you need assistance, contact me.

Re: child support

You should report the company to the Massachusetts DOR/CSE and get them to audit the account. You can also start contempt proceedings against your husband and subpoena the witness owner. In addition, you should report the business owner to the local district attorney's office, as he is literally stealing your money.
