Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Child Support

My Husband is paying $338.00 a week in

child support for two children. Soon his

oldest will be turning 18 years old, is not

going to collage but still resides with his

mother, also, until rescently was working.

Is there an amount per week for just the

one other child, or does the father have to

go back to court?

Re: Child Support

It depends on what the divorce decree of separation order states.

Technically when I child completes secondary education or quits school above a certain age, then the father is entitled to stop paying child support. The support order is then recalculated for the remaining child. The split is not 1/2 - is a higher percentage.

If you contact me, I can be of more assistance.
