Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

child support not being paid

I moved out of state and set the dor in Ma to collect as my ex is bad about paying. They have been involved from 05/27/08 and only collected 3 weeks the ex sent in. No garnishment has occured and I am getting a run around. Is it productive to go into court?

You should file a contempt action. If you engage an attorney, the attorney can seek to have the fees paid by the delinquent ex.
