Re: child support

Something seems fishy in this lake! I agree with the prior attorneys, you should atleast consult with an attorney disclosing the full facts! Good luck! Sincerely, Maria Murber

Child support or extortion???

This is potentially a major problem.

This could be a scam or the real thing.

If this is an attempt at extortion, then you should contact a lawyer, who will review the matter and advise you.

Even if it is something else, you need to protect yourself.

There must have been more to this discussion between you, the teenager, and the mother. Since you have not provided the information, it's hard to advise you.

You can contact me for a free consultation.

Re: child support

In order to adopt a child the biological parent's rights have to be terminated.

I suggest you contact an attorney to protect your interests. If the child had an adoptive father, he is responsible for child support. If however he was only a step-father he may not be so required.

I suggest you contact an attorney ASAP, you need to meet this head on and be prepared

Good Luck.
