My son turned 18 and child support ended. And 9 months later she wants support again. Can I be ordered to start paying again. Thanks..

Re: child support

Child support may be extended until age 23 in certain circumstances. Retain an attorney to determine if this applies in your circumstances. Good Luck!

Re: child support

It depends.

It depends if you were divorced, what was stated in the separation agreement in terms of emancipation of the minor child. It also depends on the circumstances of the child now. In Massachusetts, the court can order the non-custodial parent to pay child support up until the age of 23.
