child support
my sons father and I were never married... we went to court and he was ordered to pay $65.00 a week... he is a bar tender... he got fired from one of his bar tending jobs... he is now saying he needs to go back to court to get the amount lowered cause he isnt picking up the hours he can... is this true will the court lower his child support more?

Re: child support
The court can order a reduction in child support amounts if the judge chooses to do so. However, you should argue that he can get a job and still pay the amount if he choose and therefore the court should NOT decrease his child support amount but instead attribute income to him and have him rack up arrears.
Re: child support
He may get a reduction, but this seems unlikely to me. He is more likely to get ban order telling him to find regular 40-hour work and a return date to monitor same. You should oppose this request.
