child support

the state of massachusetts want to serve me a court order for child support and i live in florida, do i have to travel to massachusetts to go to court?

If Massachusetts has jurisdiction and you do NOT attend, you may not like the results at all. I would urge that you engage an attorney and prepare your case. With an attorney, you may be able to waive personal appearance. you should be very aware that Massachusetts will apply its Guidelines to support of a Massachusetts resident, and those Guidelines result in fairly high child support amounts. You need a lawyer familiar with these issues to assist you.
