child support/out of state lawyer

Do I need to hire a lawyer in Mass. to represent me during a complaint for modification, or can I hire a lawyer in the state that I live in now? (FL). Thank you.

If it is a MA case and in front of a MA judge, you need an attorney licensed in MA.

If the modification is in Massachusetts, you need a Massachusetts lawyer.
