Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

how much is the child worth, if it is mine

I am divorced ''father'' and I have doubts about me fathering the child. I pay child support because I was married to mother when the baby was born. If paternity testing will exlude me of being a father what would be my next step to stop paying child support or do I have to pay it since I admitted to being father when the baby was born? I pay child support based on child support Massachusetts guidelines for combined gross income of both parents below $100,000. How is the child support calculated if combined income is over $100,000? (My ex makes a lot more than I do). I remarried now and we hope for our own baby. Will the child support for the baby from previous marriege decrease whith the arrival of new baby?

Please help.

If the Blood test excludes you as the father, You would file a Complaint for Modification of the Support Order. Formula for Support with over $100,000 income is similar. Birth of a new child will not necessarily change prior support order unless you can show it poses a material change in circumstances that warrants a modification.
