Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My child

Please help i have an 8 year old daughter her father an i share 50/50 costudy of her. He is not the proplem. He has a second child with a woman who is trying to ruin him and his life very very long story 2 yrs of courts and attourneys, This man is a good dad here is my problem this woman is now starting to go after our daughter she went as far as showing up at our town father daughter dance and verbally assaulting him and our daughter when he told me what happened i went to local police to gain a restraning order i was unable to without him he is going with me to file mon feb 12 my question what rights do i have to portect our child from this woman do i have any should i get an attourney?

Protecting My child

It is going to be tough to get a restraining order. The standard is not verbal abuse but threats of harm or harm in the physical sense, not emotional.

It is strange indeed.

This is a matter that your ex should deal with. If he cannot, then you ought to seek recourse in the probate court through an action for modification.
