Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My children were taken from me by DSS. At the time I was not with their father. I was not able to get them back and through mediation their father and myself along with his family, our lawyers and DSS, decided that the father should get full custody. I have no rights to them, not even legal. What is the likelyhood that I could get my kids back or at least get joint custody?
