Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

I sent my children with my father for a year and he has them living with someone else instead of him, and he refuses to send them back. I went to jail for two years in which I asked my mother to get them and he still refuses. Now, that I'm home I found out he let people use their social numbers and they still don't live with him and he's talking of getting full custody, I just want my children returned home safely, but he won't call or talk to me, he has someone else call and harass me.

Is there a current court order with regards to custody? If you do, then you can go to the police station and have the police officers return you children to you. If you do not have custody, you have to file a complaint for modification of custody. I am not sure what your situation is, as you were not very specific describing your current situation.
