Re: help with college

You can file for modification and ask the court to make him pay for part of college.

I don't do this type of work, but I would contact an attorney in your area.

Jonathon Roth is correct.

You ask the court to modify a decree by adding contribution to college costs. This begins with a complaint for modification seeking this change. The complaint is served, and then at some point the matter is heard, after which the court makes a ruling on the matter.

It is more complicated than this. This is just a slight overview of the process.

You should seek the assistance of an attorney because when you file, the other party can also make claims against you.

Should you have any questions or seek representation, contact me.
