Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

common law marrige

my boyfriend has been living with me for 3 years.i told him he has to leave because of verbal abuse.i've owned my own home for 11 years and every thing in the home deed utillities etc. is under my name only.he gives me 500 a month for living here,that includes everything.he told me he is entitled to half the house because he pays that 500

a month.is there a common law marriage law in mass.if there is how long do you have to be living together for it to be lawfull.i've never used his name or anything to specify myself as being married to him.

Massachusetts does not recognize common law marriage.
