Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Can I compel a Mass DSS Invstg to record his interrogation?

Can I compel a Massachusetts Dept of Social Services Investigator to allow me to tape or video record his interrogation of my family (me, son, and wife) in my home? I posed this question while scheduling the visit with DSS and was initially told no by the investigator, then yes by his supervisor, and now have a voice message where the investigator states that following consultation with a DSS attorney, they refuse to allow recording. My objective is to create unambiguous documentation of the proceedings and also to demonstrate that the interview process employed accepted techniques to avoid leading questions and trauma to my 4 year old son. I was unexpectedly contacted by DSS following a baseless and anonymous compliant that they refuse to describe or substantiate. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You have a right to have an attorney present in the interview process. However, it is not a court. A stenographic process is not employed.
