Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

contempt order removed

My lawyer filed a contempt order on my husband bacause he took money from our retirement plan. He does not have the money to pay me back but i donot mind bacause we are working things out and our children are very happy that we are getting back together. Do I need to hire a lawyer again to have this contemt removed and continue with our lives?

Did your husband just email law guru? You can go to court and remove it if you want. Norfolk and Plymouth County's website have great self-help sections. Also, there is often a lawyer of the day at the local probate court - if you don't want to go to the expense of hiring a laywer call the court and find out when they have an attorney of the day. Good luck.
