Court date for failure to pay support

My ex has my kids, I am to pay 110 a week, and i have visatations. Back in Aprial/May I started not paying my child support. In september DOR took my licinse. In November they siezed my bank account which 1400.00 I have court thursday, what can i expect? Am i risking jail time? My ex, does she get a word can she ask that I am not put away?

I believe I currently owe 2,600.00

Im going to Brockton, Plymouth county if that helps.

You will probably be sent to mediation before seeing the judge and they will ask how you intend to make up the back child support. If you have a plan and your wife agrees, then they will put it in place. Assuming you have a job, they will arrange for the money to be taken out of your check.

Jail will only be considered if you fail to cooperate or break the agreement. If you are laid-off or unemployed they will make some accomodation to you, but you will have to get a job and you will have to pay.
