Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

custodial rights

i have phys custody, we have shared legal. allowed right to attend college out of state in Ma. courts. father pays child support religiously, and i have allowed for longer summer visits because of distance. court doc. says three weeks in the summer, father wants all of summer and 3/4 of support returned to him while child is with him. father married owns home, and can afford to take vacations with child. combined income of 60g+ i am married (both f/t students) with combined income of 8g without loans. i feel as guilty that they are apart and often conceed based on guilt. I feel as if support is for my son but it financially straps us. i feel as if i am always trying to accomodate , but he uses guilt to achieve his need by reminding me i took child out of state. he should be paying 175 but we reduced it due to his need to buy plane tickets twice a year to fly child for visitation.his visits are not mandatory, i have to fly child twice a year usually purchasing 3 tickets at a time for a shuttle for child, mine are mandatory as it was part of contract. this already taps heavily into child support. what can i do or say, or is it right for me to pass some of child support back to father?

Re: custodial rights

Child support can only be modified by the Court that made the ORDER UPON A COMPLAINT FOR MODIFICATION. Adjustments made by the parties do not change what the Court ordered. If you have further questions feel free to contact me.
