No father seeking proper representation seeks an attorney identifying as a "father's rights" attorney, any more than a mother seeks one identifying solely for "mother's rights." Such lawyers generally seek only to forward an overall agenda, or at the least are unable to see through their own essential prejudgments. They thus often have difficulty looking at the specific facts of the specific case -- and all family law cases are fact-driven.

YOu would do far better to seek an attorney with a reputation for looking closely at the rights of children in divorce, because the proper question is, "What is in the best interest of the children?"
