Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Custody Issues of my twins

My husband received a letter from Mass DOR about a person wanting child support from him. He already pays child support for the girls through DOR but this was a new persons name as custodal parent. Someone he doesn't know. How could this be? The custodal parent is one name and has a case against him. Now a different parent is claiming to be the Custodal parent and is trying to bring another case against him. Is this possible. We are also looking for a good Family Attorney in Mass. Sudbury area

Re: Custody Issues of my twins

Your question is very confusing. What I get out of it is that the DOR is inquiring about the same children (his girls), but names a different custodial parent, have your husband telephone the DOR and to let them know they have made an error with the custodial parent's name.

Then you say this different person has another case? Are you saying they name another child? You really need to be more clear about what you are asking. Feel free to email me with more info at [email protected] Sincerely, Maria Murber
