Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
In my custody papers for my son it says I have to pay a certain percentage of medical bills. My question is that if his father can not give me receipts of these medical expenses, am I still under obligation to pay them if I have no receipts of his medications and doctor visits?

You have the right to require proof of charges before paying. If he owes $25.00 for a bill and you need to pay half; then you send him the $12.50 as long as he provides a copy of the bill to you. You can send the payment to the Doctor directly if you like and provide him proof of payment.
Usually this is condition that precedes the requirement that you pay your share of the bills.
Is there a reason why there are no bills?
If the father has not sent you copies of the medical bills then no you dont have to pay them.
