Re: custody

An unmarried father has the right to participate in his childs life and be a partner in the bringing up of the child. He also has the obligation to support that child by paying child support.

If you want to be involved in your child's life and assuming there is no reason to prevent you from seeing the child based on a court evaluation, you should be allowed visitation and some participation in the child's life.

: custody

As many as a married father.

The limitations involve the behaviors of the parties, the location of the child, and what the court loosely considers: the best interests of the child.
