My daughter just went to court and the father of her son was granted joint legal custody and today the father has weekend visitation the father called my daughter and stated he isnt bringing thier son to his soccer games anymore because it doesnt accomidate his schedule. The father statred yelling at my daughter telling her now she has to get everything approved by him that he makes the desisions. My grandson loves his soccerand this was an activity that has been part ofhis life prior tothis joint legal. What can we do?

The father is incorrect. The custodial parent does not need the father's permission in making routine day-to-day decisions on behalf of the child. Likewise, if the father is disrupting the child's life or school/extracurricular schedule, he should not take the child on those days. You may need to go back and modify the visitation schedule if he will not take care of the child.
I agree with the answer above. If the father's behavior is disrupting the children's life ask a judge to modify the custody agreement.
