Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts
If my daughter waived her right to a hearing before a judge on a Dept.of Children and Family's custody matter can she change her mind and ask for a hearing ? Her lawyer told her that if she went before the judge it would make it worse for her, that she should just cooperate with DCF and do what they want. That was bad advice and she wants to fight them now, does she have a legal right to a hearing ? They took her children out of the home based on lies and she wants her children back. Thanks

Yes she needs to get before the Judge and tell them she wants the hearing.
Don't wait.
